Here in the industry we call it a wedding hangover. I may be sharing too much information here but I have never been drunk, so I can’t technically say I know what it feels like to be hungover. That was until I became a wedding photographer. A “wedding hangover” usually comes after shooting 2-3 weddings over the course of a few days, and this weekend was indeed one of those weekends. The only difference is that when you wake up on Monday morning, despite the aching body and pounding headache, there is still the high that I assume is not there after a regular hangover. And that high comes from knowing that you documented the most important day of someone’s life, and that you were surrounded by love, laughter and happiness all weekend. And that, my friends, well I’d that’s well worth a bit of a hangover.
