Is there a fee for travel?
There is no travel fee within 125 miles of Hartford, Connecticut. If your wedding is beyond that, inquire for specific costs but usually if it is in New England we require a hotel room (for safety!) and if beyond New England we require hotel and travel fees covered. We LOVE to travel but are not looking to make money on travel fees – we just want to get to your big day!

Do you do destination weddings?
Holy moly, do I ever! If you haven’t noticed, my entire brand revolves around travel so, yes, I certainly do destination weddings!

What gear do you use
I am a Canon girl. For weddings I bring with me the following items:
Canon 5D mark ii
Canon 5d x 2
Canon 580EX flash x 3
Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens (my baby!)
Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens
Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 lens
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens
Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens
…and a few other gadgets.

What is your style
Simple: clean, crisp, classic, candid. It is very important to us that your wedding day is capture as it happened, with as much natural light as possible and with the raw emotion that was evident to all in attendance. We don’t do a lot of post processing and we try to make sure

Do you give a high-res disc?
Included in the base fee is a low-res disc. The high-res disc is available for purchase or free with an album. To hear why we do this, shoot us an email or ask us over coffee.

How soon will our photos be done?
We promise that 8 weeks after your wedding you will have them in your hands. However, we have been known for under promising and over delivering. You will almost always see our favorites on the blog long before 8 weeks.

Do you offer assistance in wedding day scheduling and timeline?
Absolutely. One of our priorities is to sit down and go over a timeline with you in order to ensure that there is time enough planned to capture all the details of your wedding without crunching time too much.

Do you take credit cards?
For weddings, yes. For portraits we prefer a check.

What is the biggest piece of advice you give to couples?

Do you use a second shooter?
Always. I have 3 shooters that I rotate between, depending on who I think will be a best fit with the couple. We have been known to show up every so often with 3 shooters! It’s like the paparazzi wants to get in on your big day.
