I take time
There is no better compliment for me than to show up on the wedding day and having a bride say to me "Alicia! I am SO happy you are here! I feel like one of my good friends is doing my wedding photos.” That, in a nutshell, is my philosophy on wedding photography. I take time. I take time to get to know you. I take time to find out what is important to you. I want to know what drives you crazy (both good and bad!) about your fiance! I want to know about that special heirloom necklace or watch that you are wearing on your wedding day. I want to know about YOU!
I am not a wedding factory and don't ever strive to be. I accept a limited amount of weddings each year, in order to make sure that I am able to spend the necessary amount of time and focused attention on each of my clients. It is because of you that I am able to do something I love, and I don't take that for granted. Therefore, it is my promise to you that during your wedding planning process I will be there for you. I will be there when your bridesmaids can't agree on a dress. I will be there when your mom wants this kind of flower and you want that kind. I will be there when you have nerves of jello on your wedding day. And I will be there after the wedding to celebrate and rejoice with you over the beauty of marrying the love of your life. I promise to be your friend and trusted vendor during your entire wedding process because you matter to me.
